Lecture entitled (Sewage in Baghdad: Reality and Ambition)

As part of the Cultural Season activities of the Environmental Research Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mahmoud Halim gave a lecture entitled (Antioxidants and their health effects in preventing cancer). The lecture dealt with cancer, which is a complex disease and how it poses a major concern to global health, and the role of antioxidants found in various foods and nutritional supplements in reducing the damage resulting from reactive oxygen species (ROS) and protecting cells from oxidative damage.

Lecture entitled (Sewage in Baghdad: Reality and Ambition)

Within the activities of the Cultural Season of the Environmental Research Center, The Director of our Center, Professor Dr. Zainab Baha Muhammad, gave a lecture entitled (Sewage in Baghdad: Reality and Ambition). The lecture dealt with the reality of sewage in Baghdad and its components, which are the conveying pipes, lifting stations, and existing treatment plants, and highlighted the challenges that sewage suffers from and the proposed solutions.
