Physical and chemical tests of the aquatic environment
On November 10, 2016, the Environmental Research Center of the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled "Physical and chemical tests for the aquatic environment based on the standard specifications" for students of the third phase of the Department of Environmental Engineering / Mustansiriya University. The workshop aims to introduce students interested in environmental issues to the scientific methods of collecting samples And laboratory tests. The workshop included training of the attendees on the standard methods to examine the following factors: the biological requirement of oxygen, the chemical requirement of oxygen, phosphit, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, total nitrogen, sulphate, water current speed.
