Within the activities of the cultural season of the Environmental Research Center, an assistant teacher, Nour Ibrahim Ali Jan, gave a lecture entitled (The effect of pathogenic human bacteria on the self-healing of cement mortar). Through the lecture, she pointed out the effect of types of non-pathogenic bacteria, the pasteurization bacillus, on cement mortar to protect it from corrosion. They reveal enhanced sample surface protection with the addition of an appropriate concentration of calcium and urea to the mixture.
