Climate change: the master of global environmental issues
Among the activities of our Center ... for the cultural season in its 21st and last 21 years. Eman Shaker Awad Lecture on "(Climate change: the master of global environmental issues)" on Tuesday, 26/6/2018 on the blue hall where the lecture summarized the following:
Climate changes may occur due to the dynamic processes of the Earth, or by external forces such as changes in the intensity of solar radiation, and more recently because of human activities. Industrial progress in the 20th century led to the accumulation of greenhouse gases (CH4, NOX, CO, CO2, CFCs) in the atmosphere, causing Green House Effect and Global Warming. The best logical solution to address climate change is to significantly halt emissions, to plant forests and to change agricultural practices, to be guided by the exploitation of traditional energy sources, reducing consumption, turning off the lights at the time of departure, recycling, walking and changing behavior.
